Koi... Mil Gaya (2003) is a Hindi movie that combines science fiction, drama, romance and action in a captivating story of a young man who befriends an alien. The movie stars Hrithik Roshan as Rohit Mehra, a mentally challenged man who lives with his widowed mother Sonia (Rekha). Rohit's father Sanjay (Rakesh Roshan) was a scientist who believed in the existence of extraterrestrial life and tried to communicate with them through a computer. One night, he saw a UFO but died in a car accident while trying to chase it. His pregnant wife survived but their unborn child suffered brain damage.
Years later, Rohit is an outcast in his town and is bullied by his peers. He meets Nisha (Preity Zinta), a kind-hearted girl who becomes his friend and protector. One day, they discover Sanjay's computer in his old shed and follow the instructions to send a message to outer space. That night, a spaceship lands nearby and leaves behind one of its occupants, a blue-skinned alien with telekinetic powers. Rohit and Nisha find the alien and name him Jadoo (Magic). They hide him from the authorities and the local goons led by Raj (Rajat Bedi), Nisha's arrogant suitor.
Jadoo helps Rohit overcome his disability and develop extraordinary abilities such as super strength, speed and intelligence. He also helps him win Nisha's love and respect from the society. However, their happiness is short-lived as the government agents and Raj's gang are after Jadoo and want to capture him for their own purposes. Rohit must use his newfound powers to protect his alien friend and reunite him with his spaceship.
