The installer says there is an error and to contact the software developer. I submitted this to Apple as well.

I have also had success on my M1 Max MacBook Pro.For those still having difficulties, there are additional files that Zoom (and other apps) install in several places on your computer. When you delete the Zoom app manually, you are probably missing some of those files, and that could be what is causing the problem.
