Disney World is one of those entertainment places that you want to prepare for well in advance. Given the massive crowds the park attracts every day, having some tips on how to maneuver them comes in handy. One of them is how to purchase your tickets.
Something you must be wondering is what the cheaper option of acquiring tickets is. The good thing is, the ticket price is the same, regardless of where you buy them. The next question then is, should you buy them online or wait to buy them at the gate?
Buying your Disney World tickets online also comes with an added security feature. You can conveniently access your tickets through the card. This removes the necessity of bringing along multiple pieces of paper with you as you visit the park.
Consider linking the theme park tickets, special events, water parks, and even the annual passes. Once you link the theme park tickets you can quickly make the Genie+ selections in advance that morning. Remember that the selections should be for the cards you intend to use on each particular day.
@Frank, check out Shades of Green. We get our tickets there, it seems to be the cheapest since you are military. I have never priced out their rooms, we always stay in my in laws time share at Wyndham Bonnett Creek which we love!
Park tickets are sold two months in advance at 2 PM Japan time. The official Tokyo Disney Resort website has a helpful calendar showing available tickets. Once you have your park tickets, you can enter the park that day. There are no park reservations, unlike other Disney Parks.
Discounted tickets are sometimes available during the slower winter season. This is sometimes limited to residents in Japan. If you have a friend in Japan, ask them to buy tickets for you ahead of time. Discounts are not much and are usually around 700 (US$6.00).
Get all your discount tickets for Tokyo Disneyland, Robot Restaurant, Universal Studios Japan, and more through our tickets page (includes an exclusive discount code). For my personal recommendations on SIM cards, portable wi-fi devices, travel insurance, cheap flights, and hotel bookings, read our travel resources page.
Great info! Would you consider adding a section on the ticket options for hotel guests? I get a ton of questions about this over on Disney Travel Babble, but I know the types and prices of hotel-guest tickets change, so I never have a good answer.
Hello, your site is super helpful! Do you have any tips on how a US resident can purchase Tokyo Disney tickets online ahead of time? We are looking to visit the parks on dates that require Fixed-Date Tickets, but have not been able to purchase our tickets online because it seems like the site only accepts credit cards issued in Japan. Thank you!
Hello!I will be visiting Tokyo Disneyland in December, and was thinking of purchasing tickets online. However will I be able to get an original ticket at disneyland itself? Or will I only have the e-tickets? Thank you in advance!
Hi! Thank you for the helpful info!! I saw you mentioned about slow season and only people who reside in Japan can buy the ticket, do they have to buy straight to the ticket counter or they can buy it from Lawson, Family Mart, or online? Thank you!!
Hello, I have a question because we are going to tokyo next year (february) and we would like to go to Disney Sea. I saw that we can buy tickets at disney store like shibuya. Can we buy the ticket and use it the day after or another day ? We want to buy the tickets the day before our visit to disney sea. Thanks in advance for your answer.
My husband and I purchased tickets from Klook (lastnight) for Disneysea the night before the day we were expected to go (which was today) but we never made it to Disneysea because we were only sent a summary order and no tickets/etickets or any vouchers. We checked our bank account and the money has been taken out. We have tried to call customer service and email the support email provided and no response. I was hoping to get a response today so we can get the tickets for tomorrow. This is very disappointing hope someone can help.
Hi! I would like to ask if you can help me with this. I am planning to buy disney ticket now. My son is 11 years old but will be 12 during the day we will be in disney. What ticket should i buy for him? Thank you.
Hi! I wonder if i buy 2 days passport (one for disney sea and the other for Disneyland) , can i use non consecutive separate days . I mean i want to use 2 different day and not consecutive day eg first passport uses on 1/11 and another one use on 5/11) thx
Hello! We are staying onsite at the MiraCosta! We will be in Tokyo several days before heading to Disney and staying the Hilton Tokyo Bay the night before our hotel stay. Do you know if we head over that night if we can pick up our tickets from our package?
Thank you. I have been trying to buy my tickets on line for days and it keeps saying unable to process. I have talked with my credit card company and they unlocked it but still not going through. Any suggestions?
So you can also get guaranteed tickets if you book a package through Hilton Tokyo Bay and other official hotels. Package is reasonable, starting at 30,000 for 2 adults with breakfast, 2 park tickets, 7am check-in and 7pm check-out the next day.
I have 2 questions! First of all thank you for all the useful information !! My first question is if I can link my Klook purchase with the TD Resort app? and if the calendar map says that tickets for that day are sold out is it just in the Klook app or can I purchase tickets the week of?
You can call the Tokyo Disney directly and they will unrestrict your Disney user account to be able to purchase tickets. Number I called +81- 45-330-9697 and they were able to help me. I used my Chase Sapphire Reserve card. Good luck!
You frog fans know we've been selling Walt Disney World tickets for over 20 years. As the largest authorized seller, we can also legitimately save you a bundle on those tickets. We offer everyday savings, which are clearly listed on our Disney World ticket page, and they toadally add up! A family of four could save over $300 on four days at Walt Disney World by purchasing tickets through us. That's a whole lot of green, even for us frogs! But there are even more ways to save on Disney World tickets if you follow our trusted tips.
Before we hop into more ways to save on Disney World tickets, let's talk more generally about visiting the parks right now and why it's important to buy tickets early. We probably don't have to tell you that it's been a little different the past couple of years. You need a Disney Park Pass reservation in order to visit the parks now through Jan. 18, 2024. However, you cannot make your Disney Park Pass reservation without your tickets. For this reason, we highly recommend you purchase your tickets and book your reservation as soon as you know you are visiting. This is especially important if you are visiting during traditionally busier times, such as this spring or summer or over the holidays. We cannot stress this enough. As we frogs like to say around here, "the early frog gets the fly!"
Since 2000, we've created thousands of hoppy customers by providing authentic attraction tickets at discounted prices, as well as insider planning tips and excellent customer service. After the closing of the parks during COVID-19, we went above and beyond working overtime to take care of customers needing refunds during an unprecedented time. We are proud of the way we took care of our customers during Hurricane Ian, as well.
Our discounted rates, free shipping and flexible refund policies (365 days from the date of purchase, to be exact!) have made us the trusted name in attraction tickets. When you purchase Disney World tickets through Undercover Tourist, you have peace of mind, because we offer the same exact tickets as Disney World for less. You can link your tickets in My Disney Experience and book your park reservation right away.
It's very important to purchase through an authorized seller like Undercover Tourist. This is important because when you need support, Disney will only work directly with authorized sellers. But there are only a handful of legitimate third-party sellers such as Undercover Tourist. Many third-party sellers, including those found on eBay and Craigslist, are often scams. Selling partially used tickets is illegal. Disney uses fingerprinting to assign tickets, so when a person uses a Disney theme park ticket once, admission is tied to that person. The ticket cannot be transferred to anyone else. If the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
If you're looking for the biggest per-day savings, look for the seven-, eight-, nine- and 10-day tickets. A 10-Day Disney Theme Park Base Ticket currently runs for $622.79 through Undercover Tourist, which works out to $62 a day, versus a 1-Day Disney Theme Park Base Ticket, which starts at $107.86.
Disney requires you to pick a start date for your visit to the theme parks and to make a park reservation. If you're looking for the cheapest Disney tickets, check our calendar to see the rates by date (which you can see on our availability calendar). And keep in mind that start-date prices fluctuate the most on one-day tickets. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays often see higher prices. January, February and September historically offer the cheapest prices on Disney tickets.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are two of the most popular events at Disney World. They are also separately ticketed events. While the parties typically don't start until later in the evening, guests with tickets usually can enter Magic Kingdom starting at 4 p.m. Disney After Hours events also give guests access to the parks past closing time, meaning shorter wait times and less crowds. 041b061a72
